Tele2 says to make connection free for clients in Israel
MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator T2 RTK Holding, working as Tele2, will cancel payments for mobile connection for the clients in Israel for two weeks due to the military action in the country, an operator representative told PRIME on Monday.
“The operator’s subscribers in roaming can make and get free calls and use the mobile Internet. The special regime in roaming will come in force from 12 a.m. October 10 and be effective for two weeks till October 22 with possible prolongation depending on the development of events in Israel,” the representative said.
The special terms will be active even with a negative balance and do not depend on the tariff plan.
The move will help the subscribers stay in touch with the kin and friends and get information from the Russian diplomatic offices and airlines, the representative added.
